The very concept of dynamometer is always attached with technology. Therefore it appears a little bit of tough for those who do not have any idea about it. Actually there is a basic difference between a dynamometer and a voltmeter. True, both of them are measuring tools and both have to execute some functions in their own arena. Transmission Dynamometers and absorption dynamometers are variant form of Power-measuring dynamometers. Actually the burden which a motor or machine is carrying, is responsible for producing a torque. The torque produced by a transmission dynamometer is starkly different from a torque that is produced by absorption dynamometers. Absorption dynamometers produced that torque by using fluid friction, electromagnetic induction or mechanical friction. Using the break blocks can do developing a mechanical friction on the edges of revolving pulley. Then the break blocks are compressed against the wheels by fastening the bolts. This action continued until the friction torque FR balances. A water break uses another system. It develops resistance by the help of the rover flow. This water flow has been circulated between a stationary shell and a rotating impeller. At that particular time, the dynamometer produces direct current electricity, which is also known as the eddy current. The concept of Torque is important enough to be clarified. Actually it is the direct result of the load of the spring or weight. Its distance from the axis of rotation is also responsible for determining the torque. Actually Dynamometers are used to calculate the production of torque by an engine. This information is needed to determine the overall performance of an engine. All the information related to this issue is demonstrated on a graph, which can be interpreted easily. By using this graph the engineers decipher the essential information that they need to find out by using the dynamometer.
