One important factor to doing well with an eBay store is having great feedback from your customers. This article will show you 5 ways to getting better feedback on eBay. 1) Build positive feedback quickly when starting out. Here is a quick way to build good feedback in a short amount of time. First make some purchases for a few cheap items you use everyday. There are plenty of items in the health category that you buy every day such as shampoo and soap. Then post them on your website and do all the advertising necessary to sell them at a very cheap price. There is a high chance that you will gain very good feedback from the customers. Do not focus on sales, just try to get a good amount of positive feedback. This will ultimately help you in the future to gaining trust when selling higher priced items. 2) Build a positive feedback rating from previous customers. Give and get good feedback. This is less critical for buyers than for sellers, however having a good feedback rating makes customers and other store owners comfortable doing business with you. One way this helps many owners is that it builds trust and there is that "comfort level" which is quickly created. When doing business with store owners that have a lower level feedback rating, it is good to have a certain amount of caution. 3) Be generous with the feedback you give to others. Post feedback quickly and leave specific comments after doing business with others. Try to leave something that is nice but not overdoing it. There have been many people that have left messages that basically look like spam comments. If you leave something nice, there is a chance that future customers will see it, visit your site, make a purchase, and leave a good comment for you. 4) Be careful about leaving negative feedback to others. You should always try and work things out with the seller before leaving any negative comments. Try all aspects to contact the seller and sort things out. Keep in mind that leaving negative feedback on any sellers profile can adversely affect you in future sales. 5) Be sure to thank customers after they leave feedback. After a customer makes a purchase and leaves feedback, try to send them a thank you email to show appreciation. Who knows! This could make them send more customers your way and put more money in your pockets. Try to keep everything positive. Feedback is one of the most important aspects to any eBay business. If there is no trust between you and the customer, there is a seriously low chance to making a sale.
